Maybe its because they're caring professions.
They are the kind of jobs where you've got to love it otherwise you couldn't just go through the motions unlike, say an office job.

They are the women that matter. It requires extraordinary woman to be a nurse, or a full time doctor, or a teacher.

Depends on the definition of matter, context of usage, and sentence syntax. In this particular case it was used to imply an appealing property causing men's vulnerability to attractiveness.

Career choice generally generates stereotypical reactions in people when marriage decisions are made. Most men I have come across, especially during my days in colleage, would prefer serious relationships with MTC or TTC students, and I almost became a culprit.

I think it might be due to the nature of their job, they tend to work in social places where there have a sea of opportunity to meet, mingle, touch the heart of men.

Default nurses - 03-26-2008, 07:53 AM

Nurses care for you professionally and this provokes the libido which can easily lead to marriage.

This is all a bunch a bull...and you know it..you mean to say with a nurse or a teacher you are guaranteed to have a normal life, but not with women in the other profession? Let me remind you that the preofession that you are in does not detremine the kind of a person you are..and for your information, you should know that nurses are known to have affairs with their doctor colleagues!! So if you are going to choose a spouse based on the profession that they are in, then I wish you all the best.
