Default Sixth sense: Is it real - 06-20-2007, 01:13 PM

Does the sixth sense really exist? Have you been walking in the dark and suddenly stopped and alas....right in front of you is a man-hole? Have you ignored an inner gut feeling and lived to regret it?

There seem to be to many times when there seems to be an inbuilt radar system controlling our lives. What do others think????

Yes, 6th sense, or more specifically ESP, exists.however females are more biologically tuned to it than males

I'm a sucker for the sixth sense kabisa it borders the abnormal but it's saved my day on so many occasions I don't doubt it anymore. There are a quite a few episodes that I can share but there's a particular one that sticks with me to date.
This was like 15 years ago. I was set to travel upcountry and for some weird reason I started crying before we left. It was more of a sob, the kind that you see at funerals and the likes and I had nothing even remotely close to that going on. I had this constant nudgy feeling that something wasn't right and sometime at 3.00am in the morning we had an accident. Six people died from it and to date I truly believe that my spirit/sixth sense felt the accident hours before it happened. I had minor injuries but that was it.
So nowadays if one hair on my neck stands coz of a situation, I've to double check and if I can't put my finger on it, something's definitely up regardless what others say.

it does exist...but it isn't actually a sense, as many put it. actually i am kinda with the meaning. some call it 'using ur brains' others think it is the ability to react to real visual physical danger in an instance... and others think it is anything out of the normal

Sometimes you get this feeling that something is gonna happen, the result:
1. It happens, you wonder about it and the feeling you had is reinforced.
2. It doesn't happen and you forget about it.

I call it coincidence.....occam's razor - "all things being equal the simplest solution tends to be the best one".
