Default Giving Away Commercial Game and Licensed Software EVERYDAY for FREE - 06-15-2007, 08:22 AM

Basically, one software title will be nominated everyday. The software will be available for download for 24 hours (or more, if agreed by software publisher) and that software will be absolutely free. That means - not a trial, not a limited version - but a registered and legal version of the software will be free for the visitors. The software product will be presented in its full functionality, without any limitations save for those mentioned in Terms and Conditions.

Why do I have a bad feeling about this?

Default Try it out on a "non-critical" machine - 06-15-2007, 12:13 PM

At first glance, the software looks good. But try them out on a "non-critical" machine, and use a firewall like Zonealarm , which will inform you when a program tries to access the internet. It may be sending your personal info to the software makers.

When I see that the most popular download is Windows XP USB Stick Edition , I can't help being skeptical. There's hardly any details, like the size of usb stick needed.
