I have hated the Yankees since most of you were born. In '99 I recall a trip to NYC in which our bellhop made small talk with me about how the Yankees should steal away A-Rod from my beloved Mariners and put him at third base. A decade later his ridiculous scheme has resulted in a world series appearance. I hope A'Rod's steroid injecting, Madonna tapping, money grubbing ass goes down along with his teammates.

All Yankees fans have that as their standby, quick "come-back". But they really don't win "everything". For the money they invest you'd think they could win one at least once a decade. Maybe they will this year but they've been in the wilderness for going on a decade now.

Don't reveal everything. Everybody in "heartland" America believes Yankees win everything.

We like it when it remains that way

And yes, after spending half-a-billion dollars to acquire new players this season, don't you think they should win everything?

"Should" as in if you make a deal with Lucifer, shouldn't he keep his end of the bargain? Well, of course. But here's hoping those Phils claim two in a row and the Yanks are wondering if there's some evil power greater than Lucifer that they have to bend over for.

Good for NY if the Phillies win

The Yankees will spend another billion dollars next year

lol...Steinbrenner will save this damn economy if he has to shell out billions to every Player on the globe who can swing a bat or huck a ball. Obama should drop that fool Biden and name Steinbrenner to his ticket to save the US economy.
