The rioting followed the fallout between the Mengo establishment and the central government in the past two weeks. Since the outbreak of the riots, 26 people were prosecuted in Kayunga on Monday last week, while 283 were charged in Kampala, bringing the number of those prosecuted to 309, slightly half of those arrested during the worst ever riots in the country’s recent history.

its about time ugandans throw museveni out....country needs a somber presso.leadership style more of military than democracy.that old man should retire like moi and he will get more respect than other ugandan presso ie idd amin, obote n company.history is good place for him to start .....uganda can be a good place to retire unless he has found other place.what goes around comes around
