I like fiction for easy summer reading. Here are 2 that are timeless.

1. The Coldest Winter Ever by sister Souljah
2. A Day Late and a Dollar Short by Terry McMillan

Eden I wish I had gotten these recommendations ealier in the summer. Sister Souljah is an intriguing author. I'm now back in school and the days of lazy summer readings are past ....But I'll be sure to check these as soon as the semester's out. Thanks

its an easy entertaining read. I find reading during the school year very soothing...esp on them cold days when its scary to go outside. Anyway if u get it let me know what u think.

No problem. I will check it out and read it as an incentive when I'm tired of my school books.
Have you ever read a Zane book b4?

The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald its a great classic,Pride and Prejudice is another great classic by Jane Austen. I Know this Much is True and She's Come Undone both by Wally Lamb great books that will get you thinking. If you are into african american writers then check out Eric Jorame ****ey'sGenevieve a good inspirational book although there are a lot of sexual phrases or may i say sex scenes take your pick , maybe some of us like reading about how messed up other families are that is the book to read, or Chasing Destiny also by Eric jorame ****ey. All the books above books i have read and i highly recomend they are good for the soul and the mind maybe a little depressing at times but you will love them.

I almost feel vulgar, (what after having read all the inspirational recommendations) but I stick with King. Stephen King that is. The guy writes like the universe was just created for him to bounce ideas off of. He's a master. I recommend all his books save for the Dark tower series ... never quite got teh hang of those.

Beacause I know!
