is a written by an African American journalist who spent some time in in west Africa writing dispatches for the Washington post and other publications. It is an interesting read if want to find out how journalist view Africa and how they about getting their stories. The book is also gives interesting insight into news you get from major outlets that have a bad habit of not explaining the stories of forces behind why people are dying in say Congo or in Liberia or other parts of Africa.
