Wow! A writing camp. Amazing. I'd actually love to go for one of those. I'm not sure what it entails, but if I'd be getting my creative juices ready to put a pen to paper - I'd love it. How was/is it?

Default Harry potter fan - 11-05-2007, 06:24 PM

Hey y'all,

I have read all the books 1-7 and they are amazing, just don't let it get to ur head.Read it for entertainment and another thing, read book after book i.e 1234567 and you will not miss on anything.Ukiruka moja u will surely get lost.

The last book takes a very odd turn with Snape and trust me I NEVER thot he had a heart.I disliked his character from book 1, but book 7 surprised me.

Tell me pple, did u think that potter would die on the 7th book? To say the truth...if she would have killed his character, she would be out of business.

I hate the fact that Dumbledore was gay,I wish she(JK Rowling) had said something else other than 'gay'. Something like.......I don't know but at least not gay. It kinda ruined all the fan for me on the books. He was my HERO put potter aside. The wisdom he carried in him was the one thing that kept me reading - upto the part that he was killed but I somehow knew atatokea kwa #7 whether dead or alive.

HAPPY READING

Sinje and Infinyte-p, you guys!!!! I have been avoiding any reports on potter 7 precisely becoz I wanted to get surprised! you guys and the potter death, snape and dumbledore bits are spoiling it for me!

shame, but I guess by now i should have read the books. I know... just that I have had a particularly difficult year and was not able to read when everyone else did. I guess this is the punishment for being slow . Now that I know that D was gay (c'mon you guys....) maybe I will still read.

Cinoman, a writing retreat is mostly organized in rural/ideally quiet spaces far removed from your home/everyday locations. in this case, we went to the bush (the place is beau in the middle of some very african setting, with birds waking you up in the morning, and frogs croaking in your sleep.) beautiful. you should do one of these one day. gives you the refreshing bit missing in our already 'overwhelmed' urban infested senses

People, let Anjelika maliza the book then we can discuss. I just finished 7 today. Anyway, Anjelika - don't worry about the gay stuff. It's something J.K mentioned as a side note at a book signing and is totally unrelated to the books. Explains nothing. Like I said, I'd love to go to one of these retreats. I'm not much of a writer, but that would kick ass. How far along are you?
