Default Redeeming Love - 03-12-2004, 11:39 PM

A GREAT book by Francine Rivers. It's christian-oriented, and is a story of amazing, steady, unchanging, against-all-odds, kind of love, loosely based on the story of Hosea in the Bible. (God told Hosea to marry a prostitute).

Highly recommended by yours truly. For christians and non-christians alike. Its not one of those in-your-face goody goody, holier-than-thou books. Very realistic.

That was a wonderful book but she has written Leota's garden. If you thought, redeeming love was good, you haven't read anything yet, Leota's garden is so much better. She is a wonderful author and I will definately read more of her books.

Hey, have you read any other books by Francine Rivers? I have only read Redeeming Love and Leota's Garden. After reading those two books, she earned a place in my favorite authors list. So would you recommend any other books of hers?

I haven't read that many Francine Rivers books. I was into Janette Oke but outgrew her books rather fast! Only discovered this GREAT writer last summer on a road trip. I tried reading "A Voice In The Wind" but didn't have the time then. Hope to read more of this great writer this year..that's goin to be tough..did i tell you there's like only one christian bookstore in the entire city? (OSLO). So i have to order them from http://www.francinerivers.com...
