Default Usain Bolt in major car accident!    Show Printable Version  Print   Email this Page  Email

Story here.

Quote:
Both front tyres of the car were punctured and the left-front wheel was almost torn off. The front windscreen was shattered while the back windscreen was totally dislodged. There were tyre marks for about 50 metres before the car came off the road, said a member of the wrecker crew who asked not be named because he was not authorised to speak.
Tyre marks for 50 metres!!! Yikes, even with in the rain, a performance car ought to have performance tyres to achieve lower braking distances. Let me check some websites and see what speeds you have to go to achieve 50 metre braking distance in an average BMW. Yikes!

I only heard of this TODAY and I was most upset! I mean? I had been looking foward to watching him May 17 in Manchester for mbioz, and I don't think this will be affected so far. Thank God it's only minor injuries. How they came out of that I don't know.

That was one wreck!

Good to see you R!

SENSTATIONAL!!!

OMG!

Usain does it again. It is unbelievable to believe this is a guy that was born with scoliosis.

Bolt cruised to victory in the fastest ever time run over 150m. At 14.35 seconds,he smashed the previous best recorded by Italian Pietro Mennea of 14.8 in 1983. He did the first 100m in just 8.8 secs and said he wasn't up to his optimum fitness. Just shows us what is in store for the world.

His dad killed me when he said in this clip that Usain is very "mannersable"! ] BBC SPORT | Athletics | What makes Usain Bolt tick?

Default Congrats to Vivian Cheruiyot

Vivian also won the women's 10km easily! kudos to her.

Haile Gebrselassie also nailed it as expected. He did the 10km in 27mins 39 secs. He said if it weren't for the winds; ange break course record which was grabbed from him by Kenya's Micah Kogo in March.

THE CHAMPIONS

Congrats to Bahamian Debbie Ferguson, she just shone and Ohorougu(sp) just had to see the back of her. she has still got it.

Wow!

Good for Haile. Congratulations.

This guy isn't calling it quits soon.

AS for Vivian, congratulations. Vivian is destined for greater things. I want to see her challenge the Ethiopians.

Are you saying Usain did the first 100m in 8.8 secs?

That would be amazing!

Bolt is the real deal. He'll break his own record.

Thanks for the info.

Actually it was between the 50m and 150m mark, after getting off the blocks! was good still, aye?

Did i watch him teaching Ronaldo how to be a good sprinter? I actually didnt realise that Ronaldo is 6'1" until this.

Thanks for the video.

Bolt will definitely break his own record. This guy is fast and tall. HE covers too much ground as opposed to anyone else who's ever run the 100m.

i didn't know Ronaldo was that tall HE looks probably 5' 9".

Do we have mbios this weekend? I am not sure.
