Does anyone know where i can find information about Uganda in the 1970's,i am mainly interested in the government,and so on in that time.Was it Idi Amin the ruler at that time ?

These are the presidents of Uganda since 1970. Obote assumed leaderiship before 1970 though.

I really don't know what you want in particular but Uganda in the seventies and early eighties was in turmoil. It was war, war and more war. That is where the rains started beating them to quote Mr. Achebe.
