Fear is the cause of stalemate in Kenya's political soccer field -

It is interesting that we commonly hear these words: "Kibaki is good, it is the people around him that are bad." Well - Mr. Githongo was very clear, the man from Othaya is deep to the neck, almost swallowing the murky waters in the corruption cases in Kenya. If only Raila can bring back Mr. Githongo to take back his job, the likes of Murungaru, Murungi, Mwiraria, Mwai, Moi and any other M-Name will be in real trouble.
Odinga is Mr. Clean, mud has been splashed on him but it does not seem to stick - the Molasses story does not add up, and if anything; he is taken to be its savior at a time when Luo-Nyanza was abandoned by Moi. Kenyans are demanding truth and justice, Raila is known to bravenly take up any issue and pursue it to the finish. Mwai is caught between a rock and a hard place - even the cabinet bait is not working. Odinga cannot let him breath and it is obvious that not only the Mwai friends who are in trouble, it is Mwai himself who is in the thick of things.
Mwai has one option: it is Moi's perennial trick. Keep people waiting, anxious, tiredly until fatigued, nay - too exhausted to have any interest in the matter. Then get back to the usual game. This time it is not working - Raila is as naggingly persistent as hyena before a kill, not even the growl of a lion can deter it from the meat. You are giving hyena bones? Midiwo was dead wrong, it is not bones that ODM has been given - it is INSULT! Think of it ... Muthaura (another "M") creating ministry of fish and rice ... funny! Yes, because Nyanza produces rice and fish ... mpatie jaluo samaki na "ugali" siyo "wali" wenye wali wala pwani. This insult is the case of the stalemate - that the battle is no longer political but personal. The Kiuks can do bussiness, the mjaluo can just eat omena and survive. At one time Moi said: "mpatie jaluo shillingi mia tano na atamsaliti mwenzie."
It is Raila's patience that keeps the whole thing quiet - sasa nyie wakenya, hebu tuwaangalie hawa viongozi wetu. Ni nani kwa kweli anayetuletea matatizo nchini? Let's put tribe aside and the response is clear. This is therefore my suggestion: either Kibaki cedes power or he abides by the signed accord. The choice is his.
