Default Translation tafadhali! - 08-15-2007, 08:13 PM

Jambo! I recently was in Tanzania for a month (loved it by the way!) and bought a kitenge (?) and don't know what it says......would anyone be willing to translate for me? Hope it's not offensive....
"Ninakuona kama pweza kukujibu sitoweza."

Asante Sana!!!!!!!!

Am not a Tanzania really, but pweza is a squid or octopus, secondly it cam mean a scab - a result of an injury (verb) let the scab dry.

Sentence

"I see you like (pweza) to answer you i cannot"

Swahili has sayings, meaning this statement is not literal, you need to find the "meaning" of the statement and not the translations. Am consulting my Swa gurus for more.
