When i was there, our guide told us we should at least have 4 days there to fully experience all it has to offer...we only got one afternoon. I hear the night-life is quite the experience and all should have it. We ate at The Passing Show in Zanzibar City(i beleive) and it was wonderful! Fast, homemade, delicious! Also toured/shopped Stone City- also was a lovely time. Bought a drum! Would have like to tour the spice plantations and of course, swim on the beautiful beaches!!!!!!! Not enough time. Give yourself LOTS of time! and ENJOY!!!!!!!!

Also on my list:

Fundu Lagoon in Pemba
