A lot of you may thing i am crazy, but maybe a lot of you will not. Either way, I am an American who is interested in relocating to Africa permanently. Tanzania is were I am first thinking about. Though it is rare, there are a lot of Americans who move to Africa, not just as workers for NGO's but because despite the fact that Africa is not on the development level of the West, Africa is the motherland of us all, and there is a certain quality of culture and possibilities that is unique only to Africa and Africans that attracts many people to the continent to become one of its inhabitants.
To become a real member of a society you must go to school there, therefore I am hopeful that I can apply to University of Dar es Salaam for a graduate degree. Either way, I would like to start a discuss on this topic. There are a lot of African people like me in America, raised in the states, who want to go back to Africa, and help in the building of an African country, and in becoming an African citizen. Please engage me.
Its a personal choice - but any particular reason why you chose Tanzania??

Thanks for the question YB. Taking the kind advice of Kill Propaganda, I will more this post to the general discussion part of Mashada. But to asnwer your question, from what I have learned Tanzania has a certain level of social stability and African centered cultural togetherness that is has a lot of potential for anyone wanting to integrate into an African nation.
