I'm planning a trip to Chennai (Madras), India next year for a few weeks. Please if you are Kenyan living there or know one living there I'd like to get in touch.

Thanks for response. I will be in Chennai in Feb 2008 for 4 weeks. Since the date's approaching I have to figure out finer details like accomodation. I realize I'm scared stiff at the prospect of staying in a lonely chuti hotel room for a complete month. I very much prefer sharing an apartment or house if it's air conditioned. I've googled all aftenoon for these to no avail. Thought, if I knew a kenyan person there, I 'd be rescued. I'm willing to sleep in a hammock, pay the end of Feb rent, water and elec bills, all the groceries while I'm there , practically all the expenses incured during my stay (is that good enough?) I would also be happy to return the favour. I'm no German tourist. Just wanna do some open source training in Chennai at InteliBitz Technologies.
Now, I'm crossing my fingers for one of "the hordes of Kenyans" there.
