My six-year-old brother recently told me he didn't want to play with one of his friends because that child's skin and hair coloring were "dark." The child in question is black, and his mother and my mother are good friends. My mother and I have always tried to make sure that the children's books and toys were ethnically diverse and we certainly have never expressed any negative ideas about different races. Suddenly I feel like we're raising a racist. What can we do to stop this behavior?

Bleach him White. To make it permanent, just boil or Launder him in salty water for about 6 minute the cool him in a bleach solution.

@####, if I remember correctly, you have made some very nasty and racist comments regarding black people. You personally said no normal woman (I believe white) would date a black man. You also said that you are mixed and hate the fact that you have black blood. SO to answer your question, you reap what you sow. According to you you have tried to be diverse. But kids are not stupid. They pick up on a lot of things and based on your bad attitude, it's very likely that you've said and done things that are contrary to your attempts at diversity. Fix the situation and have a serious talk with that child before he grows up to be a racist #### like you.
