There are many hotspots in Nai. I was there inOctober. It all depends on what you like.

Of coz Carni still kicks like a non-sence but someone tells me that K2's (In industrial area) soul on Sunday is also great. And there is a K3 too. You might wanna give it a try(on Mobasa Road).

Kengeles (Westlands) on Friday is a must....I think its currently the hottest spot...... if you wanna dance on nyasi and flowers a whole night. And of coz, woe unto you if it rains.....Forget Kengeles Nairobi West, unless all you want is booze sorrounded by weird looking people. Kengeles in town is good all the time, a place to meet and talk with people. Always full of respectable LOOKING people..and I think it's the joint for Kenyan lawyers on Friday...proove me wrong!

There are other places in Westlands like Pavements if you like techno and Rock.....and Achivos. If you like karaoke, try Churascos (sp) on Saturday, which is somewhere near/behind Yaya centre (sorry, no address...we are talking about Kenya, you know!) and the Intercontinental on Tuesday nights 8pm. You know where the Intercon is, right?

hmm....I have heard a lot abt Dolce, some exclusive club...never been there but hey, you could give it a try if you have time. It's somewhere on K street.

Do U want ideas on the best nyamchom joints? I know a few....

Boy, don't I miss all those places!

All the best in Kenya and say hi to Nairobians!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy the sunshine and the cheap booze!

I went back in in 2001, basically we were hangin at Kengeles West. Italia was cool if ya with ya boys and you just want to cool out. I hated K1 & K2. Carni is dead i didnt even touch that spot
