Well just thought id share the truth behind the real mona lisa ...and as we know folks have always wondered who the hel is that fine as$ mama who Leornado was drawing.

Well now we know who that supuu was! ...it was none other than Leornado himself....he used his face as a base for the painting and the outcome was THE GREAT MONA LISA

True dat! They've done a revised comparison of Leornado's picture and were able to come up with the same picture as that above........
The cheeks, nose, eyes..... resemble those of Leonardo.....but some pple don' believe this coz from the picture you cannot tell some bits due to the shadows........

Actually now that you've mentioned, Mona Lisa does look like a man ,if you look very closely(or is it just in my head?) Interesting, interesting.. where are you getting this pics from countryboy?

I thought so to...looks like he lifted the cheek bones otherwise it does look like a guy - the hair and all.

well lilfox the thing is u see what u want to see.....since now u know the painting is based on leornado then u will kind of see a man.

Now i forgot to mention on thing maybe MsJackson can saidia me.

When Leornado was painting, there was a lady who also played a part in the painting buti cant remember what role...MsJackson do u kumbuka?....

SO there is still a feminine touch to the painting.

That looks nothing like Leonardo. The one chalk face portrait of his that he did shows a fraZZLED bearded and wrinkled face whose nose cannot be mistaken for that of the Mon Lisa.

Secondly, there has been no mention of this in the literature that was contemporary to that period. I would think contemporaries like Michelangelo, Raphael, Donatello etc would have noticed this resemblance and commented on it.
