CountryBoy!
Sorry 'bout that.....had to rush to chuo from jobo! ;)

Anyway, we were talking about Mona Lisa painting. There's this lady (can' remember her name) she's behind the suggestion that Leonardo da Vinci painted himself, and she did this by digitizing the self portrait of Leonardo with that of Mona Lisa. When the two images were flipped and merged together using the computer, the features of both Leo and Mona aligned perfectly!
But like I've said......there's still much disagreement coz from the picture, you cannot tell much about the jaw-line nor the face-line coz of the shadow effect. But all in all......all those other features do resemble those of Leonard da Vinci!

About the lady who posed for the painting.....some pple have stated that it was his mother, Caterina whose original name was Lisa! But all this is mere speculation.....and so the sitter remains a mystery!

I came across a site that sort of subscribes to this theory although other experts say that the portrait is that of La Giocondo a local woman who Da Vinci painted and the name was only changed to Mona Lisa when the painting was sold.
