Milo...you know the chocolate malt drink? First time I went to a shop and asked for mee-lo, the guy told me they didnt have it yet I could see it right there. Turns out they pronounce it My-low.

I once went to up to this girl for a school project and asked ' Do you have a partner' Which sounds like 'Do you huv a patna'. I had to repeat myself so many times to get her to understand. I was so embarrased. I think the secret is to talk slow.....

Here is one. When you say that you are going to the hospital, apparently that means it's an emergency. If it's an appointment, it's 'I'm going to the doctor'. lol

this was in the 90's wen i first got here i was being given directions n was tol wen u get to the rotary call me so me nimetafuta rotary for like 20min i called them n asked i havent seen a rotary....kumbe it was the ka roundabout i have been passing thru all that time...
