Hey Guys..I was in Lavo too. Would have graduated in 1989, but transferred out. I had a sis (Sheila Idala '85) and bro (Vincent Idala '86). I remember a few of the guys mentioned like Gerry Njenga, Angela Ndetei, Sheila Waa (she was a spleng), Kenrick Chakava(My best buddy then), Victor Konana and Kinyash (We met again in Patch).
Remember those trips to the zoo and "lollipop ice-cream, Lavington is on the Top".
Peace.
David Idala

Hey Idala holla man! This is JG Patch '93. Long time no see man. Glad to see e u kumbuka Lavi. You kumbushad me a few guys like chakava. He was an alright guy. Who remembers, Quic Quid AGas Age--Strive to excel. I think thats what the motto was. I may be mistaking it with the Patch motto in Latin but I think thats what is was. Quic Quid Agas Age.

Remember Abdul Rehman and the way guys used to call him "A blue Red Man". Then there was this chute teacher who had been there like forever..i think her name was Miss Chana. What about the haunted house and the scary stories people used to come up with. I'll never forget how we used to get maziwa ya nyayo and then be forced to drink, especially the std 7's & 8's coz it was seen to be so uncool!! Kumbuka how guys used to keep the milk in their desks mpaka it became some lethal mala!!

Hi JG, Head of House Elgon ..right. Where are you? I'm in grad school at the University of Maryland. Kept in touch with any other Lavo or Patcherians. I see quite a few around here..remember folks like Tolo, Opayo ..patch rugby 1990, Simon Kamau Prefect Elgon 1992, Julian and Adrian Bukenya Lavo and Saints guys.
What are you doing with yourself? Any Lavo guys around Washington DC metropolitan (MD, VA and DC area) hola.
Take care.

Idala,
I went to main in '95 for a semester and a half, then I left and went to Yale University in New Haven , CT. I am currently working but thinking about Grad Sch.
Hows Simon Kamau? He was one of the pioneers of Kenyan online communities when I got here in '96. He had an email list and everything I thought he'd be making a lot more noise in the IT sector by now.
Salimia all the patcherians those sides? BTW do u see Mwangi J.M, DHOH , Naivasha our year? He wa supposedly going to school in Maryland. Otherwise I heard from Gathosh recently hes planning to come to Business School here. He told me where many of the other guys are lakini I prefer not to publicise it. but kina gatoub, raged, sido, nyagz etc and many moree kagwe.
