Hey Chege, we meet again!!! So where did you meet Nduroo???????? Please tell us all and stop keeping us in suspense.

Yep I still remember the bary Eshiwani- Hezi fight, I remember Bary clobbering the poor Hezi... no wonder Bary went on to become a well known Ruj (rugby) player.

Hey. I am and ex lavington primary student of 99' Way after you guys had left. Interesting. Njomo is the Headmistress now. Mr. Gitundu left for the private sector. Mrs. Sisenda moved to milimani. The place is different. Any of u guys remember benson karanja? He cleared btween 87 and 89. Cant remeber. Hes the librarian now. New hall was built so the tac shop moved there. The old one is Werehires office. Hes now senior teacher. I dont rembember what happened to Gakuya. Long lost chap. Tinde retired. Mrs Njaaga retired. Miss Chana is STILL teaching 2 north with bosire teaching the swa in her class. Cant believe this lady.

Some punk changed the class order. The class 8 classes are now the class 2 classes. Class 8 was moved to where class 7 was. Apparently to control the 8s.

Man. Seems so far back. But yet so good.

Waa! I don't believe it! I don't know what i was googling for when I stumbled upon this site+forum!! Yaani! I never thought things could be locked in tight like this all these years. My workmates are wondering what I'm laughing about!, all your stories and anecdotes bring back supa memories! In case anyone is wondering who I am...: Michael Kamunge, class of 96( Green Hse!, North stream ).

Another reason why I am also clicking with storie from dudes who left tene( 89, 94, etc) is because all my big bros AND neighbours passed thru Lavi!( from 89 thru 95 ). I thot I'd draw up a list of people/events/places about Lavi that I'm sure you'll feel me!! about:

o Tinde!!( Mrs Mutinda, omnipresent heady! Left in 94 after the Hall was malizwad) Not forgetting her strokes of the cane man! Especially the ones for fikaring skul late and missing parade!( remember?)

o Of course, Nzoi aka the human chimney( not to mention the ka-pot belly)

o Gitush!!, and the infamous inner-leg pinchings! Not forgetting the CID rumours, which to the best of my knowlege, were never proved, ...though they might as well have been true; learnt my lesson when he busted us jumping on desks in 3 North singing some silly song about BigGs! I managed to hepa but imagine he tracked me down!!?

o The rest: Kiilu( the katoilet cleaner who guys never wanted to salimia!); the kalady for the Lib( who used to feel sweet with the place!); Mathu( works with some bank now, I think); Were( need I say more...); Mrs Muga( some other pumped mathe!! nasty to mess with); Mrs Mise( poor lady, passed away this year); Mrs Gitahi( missed the circus by a whisker!); Mrs Okoth; (late) Mr Wawuyo; Katish!( Mrs Katingima)...it's crazy, seems like I could go on and on.

Students: Guys like kina Nduro( Mr Age!), the Mkangis( athlete family), Ivy( some other spleng for 91!), the Mutuotas( Ed, Kenneth and sista), the Mworias, the Chichis! ...and many other dudes( especially for more recently) that I don't dare mention for fear of my life!!:)(...oh yeah!, and Lavender!)

Places and events: Chicks fighting in the toiz over some guy who could care less!, down-the-field( downa! Man I miss that place!...), Mama puru! + the tumangoz with pilipili!!, scao, trips to Mombao and Rift Valley, spleng'z!, hot lunch, tuck shop!, soda palace( + Kariuki!), secret pitch, Bamboo forest, Lavi Shopping Center, I Pledge My Loyalty...(fake!), the katap at the corner of the (old) hall, sports day!( Blue, Red and Yellow houses sucked!), "bad manners", swimo( built in 94-95)...

Names for galz( according to different criteria!): spleng'!, honey, chick, sharktooth, barbed wire...( let me stop there!)

Lastly, the dudes of my class( 8North + 96), any of this sound familiar!?
( anyone know where they are? Holla!)...
Paul Otiato!, my deskmates in Std 8: Sarah Oisebe, Hellen Githaiga, Cynthia Mungai, Olivia, Claire( poor thing, passed away last year), Jaymo, Kenno, Benno, Stevo, Aestimo, Tuots!, Mercy, Ann Ndung'u and Ann Ndichu, Janet, Felo, Jackson!, Thwaiba, Mercy, Hedith, Esther Wanjiru( MARRIED!), Beatrice, Tawfik!( "wasee mumelllap!"), Manasseh, Michael Arisi!, Albo...come to think of it, we had Team A and Team B for foota sindio!? I must have been in Team B coz we used to WHOOP the other guyz!!.......I could go on, but why lie, Lavi was heaven. All you guyz holla!!

Just went through this subject and could not help but to smile. YES I AM PROUD OF TINDE AND I AM GLAD SHE CANED MY BEHIND. I am doing good now. I had forgotten about radio lessons but thanks to a hawk eyed lavi alumni. Anyway life goes on.
