It's amazing how so many people have unresolved issues. Names are being dropped, stories are being told and it's all very disturbing. With all the life changing issues going on in the world today, you all have time to sit back and vent about things that happened to you some many years ago? I didn't go to Lavi but I know some of these people and this is the best way I know how to stand up for my friends. It's easy to hide behind a log-in name and spit out comments. You losers don't want to reveal your identities because you don't want people to know who you are. Too damn scared that someone out there will have something evil to say about you. Go on and hide, there's no room for you in the real world anyway.

Blaque! Hi I remember Gitush's sagas. Who can forget. BTW, Howz Cheryl Ochola? Hows she doing these days? I last saw her in 1996 which was a funny coincidence since I had just met her primo best friend Judith Kwasa across the street. Whats Chereyl doing nowadays? Salimia her sana. Millicent Odongo once recognized me from across the street when we were at Main Campo. I couldn't recognize her at first with the glasses and new hair do. She had changed a lot but she was still social and kept it real by semaing hi. Some idiots will recognize u and keep walking yet many of us were not fully grown in primo and 6 ,7 yrs is apt to make a change in one's appearance.

This is to all those who did not go to lavi and are trying to hijack this thread with "words of advice". If you do not know what any of this stand for, then just butt out and wish on. Tinde,njoroge,hotlunch,tak-shop,climbing frame, big feild, three pipes, the sand at lavi shopping centre and a host of other private lines. The thread is for those who were in lavi to remember there good old days,"unedited".

Mark I think we finished lavi the same year (89).
I remember that day that girl fell into the sewage hole. It was Evans Gicheru that got her out.

Every time Njomo said "are we toegther?" She'd continue to "E because...". Remember how she would start mental sums even before we walked into class? You had to make sure your math books were ready coz you'd just hear her outside class saying "metal sums number one!!"

We went to tsavo in Std. 7 and an Elephant (she had a name -- can't remember it) broke into our kitchen and stole our food :)

Hey Miss Chana was my class teacher in 2N.

I remember the first day of Std. 2 when all the kids who were in 2N were moving on to std.3. They scared us telling us how harsh she was and how hard Std. 2 was going to be. It wasn't too bad though :) she was kinda nice.

If it was your birthday, she'd tell you to bring in sweets and she'd pass them around and save left overs so that if it was a kid's birthday and the kid didn't have sweets she'd use the left overs for him or her. That was really sweet.

I wonder what became of her...

Saundra,

I think I was in 7 South. Wasn't Mrs. Mutonyi the class teacher? Maybe it was 7 East. Man, you have a good memory!!

I support you 100% Stano, i think some people out there are just jealous that this thread is going on so smoothly and they feel left out coz they didn't attend Lavo. We are all stating facts that happened and trying to relive memories of those good old Lavo days, so ex-lavingtonians keep bringing them on...........
