hahaha PP...One A/C was more than enough to cool the entire house. I used to set it at 18 degrees in the morning and when I came back in the evening the entire was would be freezing. I added a second one in my bedroom for aesthetic value...the LG Art cool. The major benefit of a centralized A/C is energy efficiency and that's not a problem to us.
And by the way the house was brand new built by some UK contractors. When I was given the keys, I almost cried...my first time to live in my private house with all the freedom????? I can't explain the feeling. Reality dawned on me when I later realized it didn't have an A/C...that's when I bought one. I'll pluck out both when I leave.
PS Your fellow Americans Serena and Venus were here over the weekend and we gave them over $1.5m in prize money...tax free. I'm sure they can't for next season.
