*** Joe the (unlicensed) Plumber has become a liability to the McCain camp. He is behind on his taxes, hates Social Security, and thinks Iraqis should be as grateful to America as Christians are to Jesus!

Joe may not even be registered to vote! Worse still, that business he wants to buy will prolly enjoy a tax cut under Obama, and tax increase inder McCain. Worst of all, he's admitted being a liar: -
"The $250,000 remark, I don't make $250,000," Wurzelbacher said Sunday on "Fox and Friends." "You know, I've never even come close to that, nor will I. I mean, I'd have to work, I don't know, 10 years to get that kind of money, maybe more."
This is Sarah Palin version 2: instant celebrity became instant liability! Score 1 more point for Obama, McCain & team scored an own goal with Mr Sam J Wurzelbacher!!

***Meanwhile, Colin Powell endorses Obama, critiques tone of McCain campaign. Is this +ve or -ve for Obama?

Pros: Powell has clout and a good Republican admiration.
Cons: it may be seen as a black man supporting another black man.

***Republicans in Ohio have gone to court to challenge the authenticity of the registration of thousands of voters. They claim the voter reg records to not match Social Security & driver's license, eg Joe Wurzelbacher vs Joe Worzelbacher. They're only challenging new registrations (most young people favour Obama).

Would Republicans accuse Joe the Plumber of voter fraud? | World news | guardian.co.uk

This looks like rigging to me.
