I was sitting down and thinking what it is that I really despise about Kikuyus, but it is something that I am guilty of as well. They are so pro-kikuyu as if somebody ever questioned their tribe (It is like those Americans flying their flags on their porches and cars IN THE U.S.). I am luhya first before anything else and it will take a generation or two to pluck this retrogressive attitude that I have.
Unless we start thinking as a nation first we are doomed to keep fighting each other and voting along these tribal lines. How can we get to a point where our internal squabbles become international news? Our former colonial masters would have a field day if they were allowed to re-conquer us.
Dude, if half the participants in this forum were as candidly honest and open as you've been in this post, we would'nt be verbally tearing each other apart as is our custom, for starters.

I hear you, Sir Ghetto. Perhaps this should be a rallying call for all those looking for a way out of the messy quaqmire we've navigated ourselves into.
