I was sitting down and thinking what it is that I really despise about Kikuyus, but it is something that I am guilty of as well. They are so pro-kikuyu as if somebody ever questioned their tribe (It is like those Americans flying their flags on their porches and cars IN THE U.S.).
I am luhya first before anything else and it will take a generation or two to pluck this retrogressive attitude that I have.
Unless we start thinking as a nation first we are doomed to keep fighting each other and voting along these tribal lines. How can we get to a point where our internal squabbles become international news? Our former colonial masters would have a field day if they were allowed to re-conquer us.
I now understand your self confessed 'retrogressive attitude'.
