Sensitive or not, its something that everyone should feel free to address without being apologetic about. Alot of issues are raised in mashada and it seems people have decided to ignore this one and the ones who have addressed it are almost apologising for having an opinion.
I think when people come across a single parent scenario they tend to scrutinise that family setup and whatever issues come up with the kids they tend to blame the single parent.
Having said that i've seen kids brought up with both parents "happily married", but the kids are the devil's spawn. From personal experience i watched my aunt spoil her first son (she is still married to my uncle). That boy was allowed to run wild. Whenever they visited us, my mum took it upon herself to discipline him and told my aunt, "If you can't/won't, i will!"
We had a family friend who was a single parent and her daughter was the most behaved kid i've ever come across. She always dotted her i's and crossed her t's
superiority complex, her sister, inferiority complex, are one and the same malice. Part manifested thereof is solely dependent on the persons that are in the vicinity
