Asking religion to stop controlling your free will means you are not being a member. There is no group, society, club, or organisation you will ever join and expect to follow your absolute free mind (thoughts).

It beats the whole purpose of joining the religion or group if you will oppose the Tenets thereof.............you don't have to join, if at all you feel that you don't agree with it....that's why free thinkers are not in any religion since they want to be controlled by their own thoughts.
Again the Woman before she reverted to Islam should know very well what is expected of her..I don't think one would just join a religion without researching into it.
