if wright, rev jesse jackson, al sharpton and others are challengers who play race card at anything, then where would you have categorize the great malcom x, rev luther king, Rosa parks or Harriet Tubman. These are great people - some gave up their lives for a black man freedom and dignity, perhaps obama wouldn't be standing here today if it wasn't for these people. Of course white folks are uncomfortable with rev wright sentiments,they don't want to be reminded of terrible injustice done to a black man.slavery is one of the worse hideoes atrocity ever committed by man kind. It's hard to have change without acknowleging the past the bargainers you mentioned are just a few who dance to a white man's tune,why do you think bush could't keep powell as secretary of state after the first gulf war? because powell was no longer keen on iraqi invasion, he could't dance anymore.
