This issue bugs me too - as so well written above. I thought about logging on to Mashada and counting the number of good responses and then I said I wouldn't disappoint myself. Well, at least you've counted them.
This thread struck a nerve, a very sensitive one.
Lately, I've been thinking to myself, "Maybe the question -
ati how much
would you give it up for - was naive. Maybe the question should have been,
'Women, how much have you given it up for in the past?'"
I think that's the problem: for many women, it's not hypothetical --
they've already done it (as one lady poster has told us).
