Actually Grip, I just did a quick search on the word Sabbath in Acts, and it turns out that the Apostles went to the synagogues on the Sabbath not to worship but to preach the Gospel to the Jews. So they really didn't keep the Sabbath, they went to the temple during the Sabbath where the Jews were gathered in order to preach to them that Jesus is the Messiah.
