For God so Loved the world that He gave his only begotten son,that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life is a very familiar scripture, and very simple and direct...
One is saved by believing that Jesus Is the Son of God and that He died for our Sins..and was resurrected
So then what else is there that is Keeping you from enjoying the fact that you are a son Of God..

Dont let them tell you that your sins have taken you away from him after believing since even while you were still a sinner God Loved You...Get this God Loves you, he cares about yu and you are His son, by adoption..
Since you got there by adoption, as a gift, why then do you seek to prove your love to God in service to him in a hope of getting more marks,, One would Have to be a rather cruel father to make you jump through hoops so that you can prove worthy to be his son.. God Loves us..It is written that even the rather complex universe of stars was made so that it can just be a light to the world...

Stop your works and start thanking God for the gracious gift of salvation which you did not receive by working but by gracious faith, you observe days , funny funny traditions etc, just accept that you are accepted///

If I write this in second person it is that I need to be reminded about this Grace of God ,which is by faith, when I read the thread , a graceless christian is a defeated one...
