This stereotype has to end, it irks me sooooo bad. And some of us here are guilty too since some try to portray that life is all good. Ufala.
Another thing that annoys me, is people assuming just coz you've come from majuu you should use as much money as possible without complaining or asking too many questions. Some of us may have left Kenya but we took our senses with us. I wanted a place near my work place or right next to it, and this jamaa who was trying to get me a place was getting so pissed off, when I enquire details about the place so I can see if I'm getting worth for my money. As in the expect us to take a deal without asking any questions. He asks me, how much do you want to spend? I tell him , I'm more concerned about the kind of place then the amount, lets start with the details then I weigh if its worth it or not... anashindwa what the hell I'm I talking about, and asks again whats your budget? LOL .

E.g there are some apartments I see being advertised here (kenya), the rent is twice what I pay for my apartment here ... and the apartments zenyewe ...speechless*
