Honestly, how can a rational man believe such garbage?

Because none of your stated garbage is true.

1. Man will not burn in hell for billions of years. The misconception is in the phrase "everlasting fire", or "eternal damnation", or "hell". Actually all the phrases just mean "second death." Man will die forever...not live forever in some eternal torment. Deeper bible scrutiny reveals that the concept of burning forever was a perpetration of the Edenic lie which said, "you shall not surely die...but you will be like gods, knowing good and evil". Haven't you wondered that a concept of soul in paradise is like a god having some form of superior knowledge? Historic studies also reveal that such a concept was borrowed from Babylonian mythology...hence the three frogs of Revelation 16.

2. Man will have a thousand years to inquire, scrutinise, see, understand and then justify the exclusion of those who will never make it to heaven from being part of everlasting life. During this one thousand years, the hard questions you have been asking here will be satisfactorily answered beyond further probing, giving reasons to be happy serving God forever, and also accepting the fate of your father and mother who will be dead (I mean dead like a stone).

3. Those who will be living forever will presume normal life's activities as was supposed to be in Eden before sin. Normal interactions with the animals, farming, quest for further knowledge, neighbourhood, friendship, discussions, sharing, loving, specialization in various fields, politics and leadership, and worship (see Isaiah 65:17 onwards). Actually man will be worshipping God once in a week (see Isaiah 66:22,23) every Sabbath.

Otherwise, why are you ATLian, willing to live tomorrow? What if that reason that drives you to live was provided for all eternity but now without sickness, no wars, no hunger, no boredom, no any kind of ill?

One thing I know, the beauty of God has been misrepresented by the apparent confusion in theology.

Marriage is a wonderful Institution. Who wants to live in an Institution?
