I think the whole god and religion thing is just rubbish. Think about this. God existed in perfection for billions upon billions of years. What about that state didn't he like that he decided to create human beings? What caused him to imperfect his perfect position.

Anyway, after creating a universe that is so great that it defies comprehension, he put human beings on one little planet. Of what purpose are those planets billions of light years away circling stars in galaxies that we will never see? What purpose do the beautiful natural wonders in those planets serve?

After creating the earth, he created conditions that would cause man to really suffer, and millions to die in agony. I still do not understand what his thought process was when he created the thousands of pathogens that cause so much pain and suffering in the world every day.

When it's all said and done, he will come for a few thousands of those billions of humans, take them to heaven, then doom the others to hell where they will burn forever. Can you imagine burning daily but never dying forever! So 50 billion years from now, after billions in hell have been burning and burning and crying to god every second for salvation, this all-merciful god will just shrug his shoulders and watch them burn for another billions upon billions of years.

As for those lucky enough to go to heaven, you will spend the rest of your life doing nothing but worshipping and glorifying god. You'll spend every single second kissing his a.ss, reminding him how great and glorious he is, praising his wisdom for sending your father, mother, siblings, wife and kids to hell but rescuing your soul, etc. You will thank him inflicting you with cancer that took 4 years of undescribeable pain to destroy you, because it was his wise and wondrous way of teaching you fortitude. When you bump into Hitler in heaven, you will tell god how forgiving he is for having cleansed out all the sins Hitler did. Then you will tell god he is truly a great god for burning in hell forever a good man whose only sin was he was born a Hindu. You will sings hymns until you're hoarse, clap your hands until you have athritis, dance until you break your legs, all in his praise. Then because that is heaven, those conditions will be ehaled and you will do it over and over again. Forever and ever and ever.

And this - the burning in hell plus the kissing of his a.ss ad nauseum - is what will please god immeasurably, and it was the reason he created man.

Honestly, how can a rational man believe such garbage?
