When you bring cosmology into play you will indeed raise questions that are almost infinite. Think of these
We know that the 9 (10) planets rotate around the sun, in different planes i gather, forming a concentric pattern (circle within a circle, though some patterns are eliptical), if we take the gravitational forces into consideratio, as you have just explained, we note that planetary gravity is real, i mean look at earths tides affected by the moon.
Each planet rotates round the sun at its own speed, meaning in earths years, the earth takes a year and jupiter perhaps will take longer.
Using common sense, what do you think will happen with regards to gavitational forces when one day all planets will be aligned? meaning if the first planet nearest the sun were big enough it would eclipse all the rest (but because the planets are not on the same plane this may not be so).
Am almost sure that if we were to calculate backwards when this happened, that would be the begining of man time, and if we were to project it forward that would be the end of days (just my hypothesis)
