i dont think its just peugeot. the whole new and CKD sedan market in kenya has been killed by asian imports. Im sure GM is kept afloat by truck sales.
Its not necessarily a bad thing. The new and CKD market only employed a small handful of people, made expats crazy rich and could not meet the needs of our national fleet... whether Gavin Benett raves and rants at every newspaper space he gets about Mitumba vehicles, i think on the whole Kenya benefits more from the used vehicles
