I am good in remembering ideas, maps, history, formulae etc but not names. I forgot my fiancees name when I went kuji-introduce to her parents for a few seconds and everybody noticed. I was still able to manouvre through the situation and now we are happily married!
The most important thing is your sincerity and devotion to each other.

Having said that, you should make a point to remeber her names, date of birth, wedding anniversary more than anything alse.
