Mkenya, I understand what you are saying, but fact remains fact that Christians don't practise those things even if it was in their legacy. I will be the first to tell you I have many Muslim friends and I don't think Muslims or Islam is a bad religion, but I truly cannot get past some of the things that some Muslims are practising especially in this day and age. The world of 1000 years ago is not quite the same world we live in now, the laws you see in the bible/quaran are laws that were written in ancient times and I don't think all the things written then apply now. And even if you still go on a crusade about how Christianity has similar beliefs, it doesn't take away from what the Muslims are doing right now, bottom line is we are all equal in the eyes of God, (man, woman, dog, etc) because if you are to go by pure religious doctrine we are all created by God. Stop discriminating against women, why should God care if a woman's hair is visible and not care if a man's is, isn't God the one who created that hair? Why should God decalre the testimony of two women equals the testimony of one man...? Distinguish between the laws of man and God, just because something is written doesn't make it absolute truth. Some of these laws were adapted at a time when men believed they were superior to women, but we all know now that is a false notion...or do we?
