I do agree that Islam has a problem in the way women are treated. Read this article: Court sentences rape victim.

But I am saying: the women treatment issue is international!!! Consider prostitution: do you know that 90%+ of women prostitutes are victims of violence and many are forced into the trade by fake employment promises made by Europeans and Americans? Are the East European, African and Asian women on the streets of Paris, Hamburg any better than a woman in a Bui Bui in Iran?

No they are not better, and infact that is inhuman. My aim in this thread is to point out the fact that islam sanctions mistreatment of women, and views women negatively.the bible on the other hand, treats women with dignity, and is actually a champion for women's rights.it is people that are bad, and when a religion promotes the badness, then we have a philosophical contradiction. islam does not make any sense in a modern society.
