MOORS AND ARABS

There is no doubt that "blacks" or "moors" had been visible on the planet for as long as time existed, but somehow they only had historical importance when the Romans encountered them and gave them the name; Moors, which is taken from the Greek word Mauros for dark and the Latin term Marues. These lands inhabited by these dark men were called, Mauritania, and Morocco, both derivative of the term or word; Mauros, or dark.
Who then are the white Arabs? These Arabs are Turkish basically. Having been part of the Ottoman Empire for centuries, and when the British overthrew the Caliphate there these more white skinned people of the family of Saud, went and occupied the land of Arabia, which was already occupied by "Moors" if you want to use the term in the general sense of simply meaning, "black or dark." Or you can even use the term Bedouin and that would describe the indigenous people there. The land became known as Saud(i) Arabia after the family of Saud.
So it seems that even Arabia, North Africa, and Niger, and all places scooping from that area on was not naturally inhabited by the more pale skinned people we see in pictures, called Arab but by the darkers skinned men of the dessert like the one in picture above. The Tuaregs, and the Hausas are still trible nomadic people in Northern Africa and Niger who carry those physical and religious characteristics of what we call Arabs. In the beginning of the 7th Century Islam spread across this area. By the year 708 Arabs had spread the religion all over Northern Africa. The Moors accepted Arabic as their language along with the religion. The Visigoths of Spain in the 5th century persecuted Jews, and their own poor. When Islam entered Spain via the "Moors" the Jews welcomed the new civilization in which they could live free of persecution. In fact Tarik, a great African or Moorish chief heading the Arab army went into Spain on April 11, 711. He went into battle with 6700 Moors. The Moors destoyed the Visigoth spanish. In time the white Arabs and Moors had disagreements over land, the white Arabs giving themselves the better portion. The Moors settled what is now called Andulus (Morocco). In time it separated itself from association with the Caliphate and the only connection was the langauge of Arabic and the religion, Islam. Spain still bears the architecture and language of its original conquerors. It is not called Arabic spanish history, but Moorish Spanish History because the Moors, or the black men, conquered Spain, not the Arabs. Today in Darfur, in Sudan the "Arab blacks" are at war with "Indigenous" blacks such as the Dinka tribe. They separate themselves from other blacks by money and status alone. The blacks of Sudan are not the White Arabs that came from Turkish stock and populated Arabia, but are Africans who believe they are different some how than other African blacks. The killing and war, and slavery that is going on is shameful, one black against another all in the name of being identified as Arab. Strangely enough some of those persecuted by the "Arabs" are muslim people, so the "war" is strange and barbaric and should end. Sudanese refugees run to places like Eygypt were they are not welcomed, and Eygpts infrastructure cannot handle a large influx of refugees. It is clear historically that Africa has in the past been part of Arab lore, and has been formative in its history and its existentance to this present day. Arab does not mean white, or even Saudi, it means a culture connection to a group of people who identify themselves as Arabs. There are Arabs in Israel that are not Palestinian, but Christian. There are both Christian and Muslim Arabs in Lebanon. Iraq has both Christian and Muslim Arabs. And all these places bear the genetic connection to those Bedouin Africans who joined with white Arabs to spread Islam and to fight wars. Even Persia, Iran has "Black Persians". But Iranians are not "Arabs" and are offended if you call them Arab, they are a people unto themselves. But our brothers and sisters in Africa were not only merely slaves to Arabs, they were traders, warriors, and tradesmen who traveled, explored and came and went all over the Middle east. During slavery some slaves brought to these shores, were muslim. They did not accept Christianity at all. There are historical narratives and records of slaves bearing Arabic names, and identifying themselves distinctly in customs and in dress as separate from other Africans. It stands to reason that quite a few of the slaves brought here were African muslims considering how Islam swept the continent from the north to the west and east. No slaves were brought from South Africa.
