Default RE: SWEET REVENGE….FOR MUSLIMS. - 05-24-2006, 10:08 AM

@Spairo/Dadyamaru ....
Relax the body. This is what you wrote---

<<<<Now that I sound silly, if the bible is the one which said Israel home is the current site, then that “holy” book has changed again! Amazing how “god” can change an already written book…. “Real miracle indeed!”
So those confused Israelis who were lost in the desert for 40 years and still lost, got their home finally? read your bible brother, the “promised land” promise has not been fulfilled and I don’t think the land is Palestine, in Palestine there is no “milk and honey” just blood and sweat, US should look for the said land else where, and settle the guys who are still lost 2000 plus years now!
The issue of Golder Meyer was just to show you, who were the brains behind Israel occupation not to belittle your brilliant big brains.>>>

Spairo...its always correct to say it was the British who created Palestine as a state. In short, much of the world's political structure stems from European colonialism.The word "political" is underscored because the state is always a politico-legal category. It is the Western media that confuse the state with the nation, which is only an ethno-linguistic category.

That said, Palestine may not have existed as a state, but it has always been there as a nation. The modern Palestinians are the major descendants of the Israelites who overran Canaan around 1250 BC. Harassed by the native Canaanites and newcomers called Philistines, the Israelites never succeeded in forming a united state till around 1070 BC under Saul and then David.

On Solomon's death, around 900 BC, a deep schism split the kingdom in two. With 10 tribes, the northern one, based at Shomron ("little Sumer", Greek: "Samaria"), retained the name "Israel". Composed only of Judah and Benjamin and seated at Jerusalem, the southern one was called Judah. In 722 BC Assyria destroyed the northern kingdom and the 10 tribes "got lost".

Now, these guyz merely merged with the Assyrians, the native Canaanites and the Philistines to produce what are known as Samaritans. But it was the Pelest ("Philistines") of Crete, arriving in Gaza just before Joshua, who gave their name to the whole mix.
The Greeks called it Filistia, the Romans Palaestine. In 586 BC, the Babylonians invaded the southern kingdom, taking Judah's entire elite to exile across the Euphrates. It is Judah's exiles who emerge as "Jews", the English corruption of Greek Ioudaios and Latin Judaeus.
It is among them that Ezra and the Soferim ("Scribes") produce the Pentateuch, the Five Books attributed retroactively to Moses. Under Zerubbabel and Nehemiah - after Babylon itself had fallen to Persia - they return to Judah with a refurbished monotheism totally unknown to the Samaritans.

What we read in the Jewish Bible is just that - an account of Judah (the Jews), not of Israel (the Palestinians). It is Judah (or Judaeans) - not Israel - that we meet with in the New Testament. Rome captures it in 63 BC.

And it is Roman tyranny that produces the christic rebellion that culminates in the 70 AD crisis, in which Titus reduced Jerusalem, Jotapata, Qumran and Masada to ashes. Another rebellion was crushed in 132, after which Judah was scattered throughout the world and, as an ethnicity, disappears from history. But, as a religion, Judah (Jewry) remains active everywhere. In Europe, it garners converts among many non-Semitic groups.

In The Desceration of Judaism in Our Time, Moshe Menuhin, still another Jew, corroborates it. But it remains true that "Jew" is derived from "Judah" and that originally it denoted blood, not a religion.

This was what Caucasian Jews exploited in the 19th century to create the Zionists' claim that they were Semitic and that the horrendous 2,000-year crimes Europe committed against them were "anti-Semitic" acts. Today, Zionists have an easy stock reply to anybody who reminds that claim or who criticises Israel: "anti-Semitic".
Even the Palestinian struggle against these fraudulent "Semites" is condemned as "anti-Semitic". How the Palestinians - who eventually entered the Arab melting pot - can be "anti-Semitic" when the Arabs are the only extant Semites defies logic.

So, Spairo - get off that high horse you are riding and come into terms with reality!
