One of the most famous philosophers ,Renee Desacrtes once offered an ontological proof of the existence of God.
Renee was,arguably, the most famous philosopher in modern times.Undoubtedly,he alone has contributed more to philosophy than most of the others put together!!

What do you think of his "proof" of God??
It goes something like:

1.You think that God might or might not exist.
2.If God did not exist,you would not be asking question (1).
3.Therefore God exists.
Q.E.D

or,to put it in other words,you think of God.Therefore He must exist because you are thinking of Him!!It would be self contradictory to say he did not exist if you already even just asked the question.Otherwise what could you have been referring to when you asked about God??????????
