I've read that. Many of the things that are now part of Christianity were created way after Christ died. The original Bible had more than 66 Books. Later on the ones that hinted to things that the Christian founders did not agree with were removed. e.g. that's why no book details Jesus being married and having a kid, while it was in the first Bibles. etc
