wacha the arrogance, why do you assume that I do not know what I am talking about? No religion has been responsible for as many deaths and suffering of non-believers than Christianity. Well, maybe apart from the Old Testament Jews, who perfected the art of genocide. It's interesting that those Jews and today's Christians believe in the same god.

Some of the biggest evils, like colonialism, slave trade, apartheid, mass murders, etc, were based on Christianity. Before you protest, just look at what the Christian crusaders did to Africa, SOuth America, Asia, etc.

Remember in the Bible when Noah got totally drunk and started dancing around naked? His son Ham, that father of Canaan, ACCIDENTALLY saw him naked, and he told his brothers Shem and Japheth. Shem and Japheth covered Noah up without seeing his nudity. When Noah sobered, instead of being ashamed of getting drunk and stripping and praying to god for forgiveness, he pulled the "reverse psychology" card and instead cursed his son for accidentally seeing him naked.

Genesis 9:24 - 27 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

As you guys may or may not know, blacks are (meant to be) descended from Ham. Not suprisingly, this curse has been the Biblical and godly justification of the suffering that the Christian whites unleashed on black Africans.

The Dutch Reformed Church, the church of founders of Apartheid, used this to prove that what they did to blacks under Apartheid was OK under god and sanctioned in the Bible. We were meant to serve them, we were not equal to them, and they had the verses to prove it. You know it's almost impossible to show a man he is doing wrong if he can quote his justification from his holy book and his deity!

Colonialism was done under the pretext of spreading Christianity to the savage Africans. Slavery was also OK because of the curse "a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren." Plus even if there was no curse to justify their enslavement of Africans, they could still fall back on the fact that god is 100% okay with slavery, as long as you treat the slaves within the laws he lays out in the Bible!

So TM, I do know my history quite well. Maybe you need to read yours from a non-Christian source!
