I concur with you on this. I cannot quite remember which post Atlian mentioned something to this effect. His anaolgy was of a child killer going to heaven because his religion says he can be forgiven while the little girl rots in hell...

This type of thinking is very prevelant in religion. Logic is thrown out of the window. It goes like this, since I am a muslim and you are a muslim (doesn't matter if we kill plander, rape, fornicate...), it doesn't matter how righteous the 'pagan' is, he is an enemy that must be dealt with and our God will understand and forgive us. Same thinking have experienced with a lot of christians.

To say teh least, it is very absurd!
