your long post doesn't answer Mbajuni's question at all. It mentions Jesus got circumcized at 8 days old, then Jesus getting lost for a day at 12 years old - period. We know nothing else about what he was doing at that time, and Luke doesn't elaborate. It's like me telling you I was baptized at 3 months old, and I once got lost for a day when I was 12. How does that tell you about my youth?

Before Jesus was born, an angel came to Joseph and told him his wife would get pregnant through god's grace. Mary then got pregnant as a virgin. They both knew it was because of god, and they both knew Jesus was god's son. So it doesn't make sense that they didn't understand what Jesus meant when he called the temple (god's house) "my father's house"...
