It says very clearly that they were not saved.

I only find it annoying in that it kind of disrespects my religion. We are already on the same page so why bother me? Non believers on the other hand have not accepted christ for one reason or another. Believers have a responsibility to talk to non believers and see which one is willing to be saved. Those who dont want to are free to do so and their will is respected. The aim is to make sure everyone knows Him so that they'll not have an excuse for not beleiving on judgement day.
